Today, they did quite a few re-shoots, close-ups and extra takes from earlier scenes they filmed, but there were also some new stuff going on like Arthur, Merlin and the knights (including Sir Agravaine) riding through the lower town with lots of people waving flags and cheering at them. Apparently they did some more scenes in the village with Gwen, but we weren't allowed to watch any of it, not even from the windows...too dangerous they said...*phew* *lol*
Then we had a nice litte scene with Arthur and Merlin coming home from somewhere, getting off their horses and Merlin kind of runs away, because he wants to do some errands for Gaius, but Arthur instructs him to prepare hot water, fresh bandages and everything else Merlin can think of, so that everything is prepared for the night...no idea what was going on though or for which episode that was.
Then there was a scene when the new knights (Percival, Elyan and Gwaine) and Leon were taking their horses through a crowd of town's people.
James Callis also was on set again, I think he had another scene with Colin inside the castle. And when he wasn't filming he was wandering around taking loads of pics like a proper tourist! :D
Another thing was that Colin apparently strained/twisted (or otherwise injured) his ankle. He was clearly in pain, and at some point the medics had a look at him, but probably couldn't do anything, so they stopped filming that scene with Colin and Bradley, and Colin took a break. But even he was in pain and must have felt really uncomfortable he was still joking around with the crew, laughing and smiling. He's such a sweetheart!!!
Later Colin came back to do his last bits of filming. He said "hi" when he arrived, and when he finally left for good he came up to us and we had a nice little chat with him. OMG! He's nothing but adorable and really charming, I kinda melted away! *lol*
Okay, I'll start the pics with two very special guest stars... :P *lol*
And now I've got a bonus for you...a very special love affair! :D
He clearly is in love with his horse! *lol* That was so cute, he was talking to his horse all the time ("Are you nibbling at my hair?" and other stuff), and there was also some kissing involved... ^^ Sorry, didn't take pics of that, but I filmed it! :D Putting that up later...
In the end, we had a wonderful last day on set.
As usual, feel free to grab the pics, but please credit me and no hotlinking. Thanks!
