Na, das find ich ja mal 'ne ganz klasse Idee!!! Dann muss ich nicht immer nach meinen Lieblingsvids erst alles andere durchscrollen, sondern habe alles schön auf einen Überblick (ich hab die natürlich sowieso auf meinem PC runtergeladen, aber gerade wenn ich irgendwem sagen will: 'Schau dir mal dasunddas Vid an, ist echt toll!' [Die Empfehlung geht zwar nur an Personen, die eh kein SGA schauen, weil ich keinen kenn, der das auch schaut - aber erst kürzlich hab ich einer Freundin meine liebsten Links geschickt und die fand die Vids so toll, dass sie sich demnächst mal mit mir 1-2 Folgen ansehen wird *g*] - dann will ich auch immer gleich den Link dazu raussuchen und... ja, wie gesagt durchscrollen. Aber jetzt ja nicht mehr ;)

Also, meine Lieblinge sind... hm... soll ich die jetzt wirklich aufzählen? Kommt wahrscheinlich etwas lächerlich rüber, wenn ich dann im Endeffekt jedes 2. aufführe, aber was soll's (Ich glaub, du weißt das mittlerweile zwar eh schon, aber wenn mein Vorredner schon seine Lieblingsvids aufgeführt hat, schließ ich mich mal der Tradition an):
"Friends", "Alf meets McShep", "Liberatio" und "Gummi bears".
...
Und ich bin ja in Versuchung, "Blaze of Glory" und "Be a man, Rodney" noch mit reinzunehmen, aber ich glaub, die liegen für mich ein ganz klein wenig (sagen wir ein Millionstel oder so) hinter den anderen und wenn ich sie rauslass, hab ich mich wenigstens auf 'nur' vier Lieblingsvids beschränkt *g*.

Also, wenn meine Videos tatsaechlich dazu fuehren sollten, dass du wenigstens ein paar Unglaeubige von SGA ueberzeugen kannst, dann haben sie letztendlich ja doch einen hoeheren Sinn gehabt!!!! *lach*

Aber ich kenne das auch, dass die alle gar kein SGA gucken, und sich deshalb auch meine Vids nur recht halbherzig angucken... ist schon manchmal recht frustrierend!!! *ggg*
Aber da kann man wohl machen nix!! ;o)

Yep, das Archiv ist eine richtig gute Idee.
Ich habe mir zwar auch schon einen Unterordner im meinem Ordner "AudioVideo" mit Titel "bestStargateVids" angelegt, in dem sich deine wiederfinden (incl. 'my songs' *gggg*) aber so die Übersicht behalten zu können ist klasse.
Meine Lieblinge? Puhh, das ist schwer.
Blaze of Glory hat mich durch L&B geleitet, ohne dieses Vid wäre die Story nie die Gleiche gewesen.
Empty Spaces hat mir geholfen Schach matt zu schreiben.
Liberatio hat mich schon immer fasziniert. (so sehen Sieger aus!)
A Star is born. Was soll ich dazu sagen? Rodney Centric, ich könnte dich dafür knuddeln, einfach nur megastark!
Savin'me... Ein Video mit ganz viel Herz und trotzdem fehlt das entsprechende Hirn nicht. Große Klasse mit einer einmaligen Geschichte.
Pinky & Brain... Das passt einfach wie die Faust aufs Auge, richtig cool. Das Gleiche gilt übrigens für Gummi Bears.
Jetzt frage ich mich bloß, war Als meets McShep oder Be a man oder sogar Friends das erste Vid, das ich von dir gesehen habe *grübel* gute Frage...
Dein Alf meets McShep wurde von Part 2 eindeutig überholt, wobei ich die Schachszene immer noch vergöttere, be a man trifft die Thematik so grenzenlos gut, es ist einfach nur fantastisch und Friends, tja, sie bleiben nunmal die besten Freunde und das für immer!
Was fehlt noch? Braveheart, Brothers und get the hell out of my way.
Erstmal zu Braveheart. Wie ich ja damals schon gesagt habe, muss man es erstmal schaffen, mit einem Chara, der nur eine Staffel im Maincast war, 7 Minuten so gelungen zu füllen, klasse. Außerdem passt der Titelsong total gut.
Brothers. Geile FF und ein absolut würdiger Trailer. Man hat das Gefühl, Atlantis wurde nur gedreht um dir die Szenen für deine FF zu liefern. Kommt hoch proffesionell rüber.
Get the hell out of my way. Krypteria ist schon mal absolut genial, siehe auch Liberatio, die Lieder stehen sich in nichts nach. Und wohl kaum ein anderes Lied passt so gut auf die Wraith. Geniale Wahl sowohl bei den Liedern als auch bei den Szenen.
Beim Vidden muss dir erstmal jemand etwas vormachen (das Gleiche gilt übrigens auch für FF's)
Ich ziehe meinen Hut vor der Meisterin...

I found one of your videos (Men Of Devotion) on youtube and tracked you down to your LJ and I was very happy to see that I could still download them. You should post links in mckay_sheppard - your videos are wonderful and I'm sure plenty of people would want to see them.

Na, da muss ich doch glatt nen Kommentar auf deutsch dalassen...hab mich schon darauf vorbereitet,auf Englisch meine Begeisterung auszudrücken ;). Hab gerade das Video " Men of Devotion" gesehen und muss berichten, dass ich albern quietschend vor dem Laptop saß. Die zur Musik passenden Mundbewegunen! Clever zusammengeschnittene Szenen! Ein hinreißender Song (wieso kenn ich den bloß nicht, nur Lemon Tree?) Und Sheps Gesichtsausdrücke alle zusammen in einem Video!
Ich bin begeistert. Du hast mir mit dem Video den Abend nach einem anstrengenden Unitag versüßt. Bravo für das Video!

*hihi* keine Sorge, das passiert mir auch.

Aber ich freue mich echt, dass dir das Vid gefallen hat (erstaunlich, wo das ueberall auftaucht! *lol*) Und glaub mir, ich habe beim Schneiden nicht weniger quietschend davor gesessen, wenn ich dann mal wider eine Szene gefunden hatte, die reingepasst hat. Und gerade die Sache mit den Lippenbewegungen war nicht einfach. Okay, ist auch noch nicht hundertprozentig, aber es hat Spass gemacht, das einfach mal auszuprobieren, zumal es fuer mich mehr oder weniger eine Premiere war. Aber die beiden sind auch einfach zu suess zusammen, oder?

Tja, und dass die meisten von Foolsgarden nur Lemon Tree kennen, ist eigentlich eine Schande, denn die machen wirklich gute Musik. Nicht nur die locker-flockigen Sachen, sondern auch Nachdenkliches und Anspruchvolles. Aber troeste dich, wenn ich nicht einmal auf einem Konzert gewesen waere, wo die Vorgruppe waren, wuesste ich das auch nicht. Aber ich kann dir z.B. die CD "Ready for the real life" nur waermstens empfehlen. :o)

Ich hab gerade dein Vid Liberatio gesehen und bin hin und weg. Sooo schön. :-)
Der Song - auch wenn ich nicht mehr als ein paar Worte verstehe *g* - die Clips dazu, die kurzen Ausschnitte aus Elizabeths Rede - da stimmt einfach alles und passt perfekt zusammen. :-)

Ich bin immer wieder ganz hin und weg, wenn ich fuer das Video Lob bekomme, da es wirklich eine Knochenarbeit war ... fuer mich und meinen alten PC damals. Ich glaube, das ist auch das Video, wo ich am laengsten ueberhaupt dran gesessen habe, als das fuer den FanArt-Award gemacht habe. Ja, das waren noch Zeiten ... dieser Award lief so toll ab, ohne irgendwelche Ressentiments oder dergleichen. Sorry, ich schweife schon wieder ab *gg*, aber der Tag heute zaehlt nicht unbedingt zu meinen besten.

Auf jeden Fall freut es mich sehr, dass dir das Video so gut gefallen hat und wenn du moechtest kann ich dir gerne mal den Text inkl. deutscher Uebersetzung zukommen lassen.

Heya! I just watched "Men of Devotion" for the 4th or 5th time, figured it was about time I said something. It's fantastic and funny and adorable, I love the synching of lyrics to speaking, and oh! the expressions! Just awesome!

Also...I have a big request. In the last few days FileFront has pretty much stopped working for anyone living in Asia (servers overloaded), so I can't download any of your other videos. Is there any chance you could mirror them somewhere else? Or upload them to http://sendspace.com/ or http://www.megaupload.com/ ? At least your two most recent vids, they sound great and I'd love to see them...!

--Never mind; I've found if I wait long enough, I can eventually manage a d/l. And it's worth the wait - you have amazing vidding talent. Lovely match of imagery to music, you pick scenes wonderfully. And oh, man, "A Star Is Born" cracked me up so hard - brilliant! Almost, almost as brilliant as "Pinky & The Brain", which is just...oh...Rodney!!! oh Sheppard! HEEEE!

(I love the serious vids too, I just am really bad at leaving feedback for vids, and don't know what to say about them except that they're beautiful. I love in "Savin' Me" the timing of the clips with the song's rhythm and lyrics, the black & white and color is really lovely.)

Uh, yeah...I'm not a crazy stalker, honest, just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the vids, they must be a lot of work, but are so totally worth it - thank you for sharing!

So, jetzt werde ich aber auch endlich mal hier schreiben. Deine Videos sind echt klasse geworden. Du hast wirklich gute Ideen und setzt es auch sehr gut um. Die Szenen passen auch meist sehr gut zum Text.

Savin' me re-edit und Men of Devotion sind meine beiden Lieblingsvideos. Ich kann mir die beiden Videos gar nicht oft genug ansehen *__*

Durch deine Videos bin ich eigentlich erst ein richtig großer Fan der Serie geworden und von McShep haben sie mich auch überzeugt.

I followed [info]crickets's rec of Men of Devotion here. That was so much fun! I never thought of John and Rodney as quite as goofy as that. :D I like the way you matched the music so much with internal motion, and the bits at 2:10 and 2:37 cracked me up.

Ohhh, Rockstar vid is amazing! Well, really, all your vids are wonderful, you have both amazing comic timing as well as a very enviable knack for image/lyric match ups!

I've meant to comment before, just so much love for your stuff (you don't know how many times I've rewatched "Men of Devotion," have it on my portable avi player...watch it basically whenever I need a pick-me-up, really.) And your comic vids, like "I'll make a man out of you" crack me up every time! Can't wait to see more by you!

I just watched your latest vid - very nice. I love the way you used the clips from Miller's Crossing at the end. It made for some very effective story telling.

Ich habe mit dem Video sogar bei der Creation Con in Vancouver gewonnen! *freu* Und Kavan Smith hat es auch total gut gefallen ... nun ja, bis auf die "Bazooka"-Szene, die wollte er am liebsten wieder raushaben ... es war ihm sooo peinlich! *lol*

I was pointed to a video of yours - Rockstar - by [info]jenniferjensen and a few days ago, and now I can't get the song or the video out of my head. I'm afraid it may have inspired some pretty odd AU fanfic (McShep, though it's heavy on Lorne). Hee. I hope you don't mind. It's still WIP - the boys won't shut up - but I hope to actually finish it pretty soon.
